Rammel Club 15- Audrey Chen/BRB>Voicecoil/Spoils and Relics
RAMMEL CLUB #15
-----------------------
Audrey Chen
From Baltimore, USA Audrey Chen has collaborated with a wide range of folks including Dylan Nyoukis (Blood Stereo), Phil Minton (The Feral Choir), and C. Spencer Yeh (Burning Star Core) to name a few but when she hits the Rammel Club shores it'll be as a solo artist. Combining cello with analogue electronics and sound poetry she creates an intense, slow burning music that'll suck you in before blowing your brains out of your third ear (you've all got one of those by now haven't you?).

brb>voicecoil
Sculpting detailed compositions from field recordings and found sounds Foxy Digitalis pronounces that “brb>voicecoil’s brand of urban occultism turns the everyday world into wound sized holes in reality”. And Lord knows we could do with more wound sized holes in reality.

Spoils and Relics
Some would claim they're the illogical conclusion of the jam band - churning out crawling symphonies of junked up intricacy, never knowing where they're going, but always ending up some other-where. One fine side of vinyl due on Harbinger Sound, and enough limited edition tapes (Blackest Rainbow, MJC, Mantile and Total Vermin) floating around the underground to clog up the largest of land-fill sites.
