Annelies Monseré
Annelies Monseré is a Belgian musician who has been playing music and releasing records for over 20 years, both solo and with bands such as Luster (on Morctapes) and Hydromedusae (a duo with Jessica Bailiff - Kranky). Her last two records were released on Horn of Plenty and have been met with critical acclaim. Reviewing 'I Sigh, I Resign' (2024) in The Wire Daryl Worthington wrote 'Past and present, personal and historic, dreamlike and mundane merge into flickering yet coherent constellations. Monseré's music creates spaces where everything haunts everything else. A place where the past doesn't disappear but leaks into the present. That might sound disorientating, but her songs render it eerily gorgeous.'
Zimmermann / Lienhard
Zimmermann / Lienhard have been active since 2018 exploring the similarities and differences of acoustic accordion and electronic oscillator sounds, playing with psycho-acoustic effects and blending in ways that leave audiences repeatedly astonished. Through the many years of playing together an impressive delicacy and intimacy of their improvised interplay has emerged. All of this can be witnessed in their live performances, as well as on their two releases 'kaputt' and 'organ' (both on Wide Ear Records).
Christian Rock
"Hannah Bannanah and Jack Tomlins of Christian Rock will be performing with 'Improvised Explosive Instruments' - just kidding, we will be performing a musical rendition of Hannah's poem 'The Whole World Is Supremely Justified, It's Awful' which is about a non-Somali Somali Pirate and we hope you enjoy it"
